Washing Process

After each rug has been dusted, our rug specialists will inspect the rugs for colorfastness. In this process if the dyes seem unstable, we will apply a dye block treatment to the rug to guarantee it will not bleed.

During the washing process our technicians have several approaches to choose from. The first one entails a gentle hand agitation using soft bristle brushes designed especially for conditioning. The second procedure uses a rotary machine which also has soft bristle brushes to loosen the soils and conditions at the same time. The third washing process is what Executive Rug Cleaning likes to call a deep cleaning sanitizing bath. The area rugs are placed in our 1200 gallon simulated river washing system which guarantees a germ and bacteria free rug. Whether it is made of a natural fiber or a synthetic, this washing system can be used for all kinds and types of rugs. The solution within the wash tub is specially formulated to keep the dyes stable throughout the washing process to ensure the results you expect.

After the washing process is finished, our technicians will place the area rug in our centrifuge extraction machine for a complete rinse and spin. This guarantees the rug is free of any soil or debris. Executive Rug Cleaning is the only facility in the state of Oklahoma equipped with these types of machines that simulates the way rugs are washed from the Middle East.
